Molly, I am shocked and saddened to learn of your father's passing. Please accept my sincere condolence to you and your family. Judge Patrick led an accomplished, selfless life and was respected and admired by so many! Be happy when you remember what an impact he had on so many lives and he will live on in the memory of those fortunate to have crossed paths with him!

Today my husband and I join the Patrick family in their grief of the passing of "PAT". What an awesome and wonderful person!!! I meet Pat in the mid 70's through a friend. I became a better person that day because he was there to help; with his great smile and positive personality. I know GOD was picking beautiful flowers on that day. He only wanted the best and got it with you. To the family we are so sorry for your loss. May GOD bless and keep you.

I was so very saddened to hear of Pat's sudden passing. Prior to retiring the first of this year from the Hampton Circuit Court Clerk's Office it was such a pleasure assisting Pat. He was always so pleasant and kind - a true gentleman. One of my favorite memories is that prior to becoming a judge he would bring the staff an Italian Panettone at Christmas. Pat will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My heart and prayers are with you, Jerri, and your family at this time.

What a wonderful life Pat led. This is a great loss to his family and to Hampton. I saw him many times over the years while visiting my family in Hampton. Heartfelt sympathy and love for his family and many dear friends.

I have not seen Pat since 1969 but remember him very well. I met him at Thorpe in the 9th grade. I was one of a few African-Americans who choose to go through Hampton's Freedom of Choice". He went out of his way to befriend me and many others. This sense of humanity was shown at Hampton High also. I remember a great human being!!
