Hampton High School Crabbers - Class of '69

To the family of Albert "Pat" Patrick,

I am a member of the 1969 graduating class at Hampton High and I was sorry to hear of Pat's death. Thinking of Pat today. We loved his warm smile, compassion for others, his love for his family and friends. Pat was also a leader. He lead his team to the state championship in 1969. Through all the trials and tribulations Pat faced he did so with a great sense of humor and grace. We are all blessed to have known him. Let's all try to smile when we think of Pat. That is what he would expect. I thank God for making Pat a part of my life.

Pat was my neighbor and my playmate when we were little. I was a little older, but even at that age Pat made a big impression on me. He had such a gentle and caring spirit about him. I was so proud of him when he became a lawyer and such an outstanding judge. To the family, I would like to say, "God bless you all. They just don't come any better than Pat!"
