Oh my god I'm so sorry I'm just finding out about you my friend. I miss you already. You were a good soul that never hurt anyone and an even better father. I am crushed. Rest in peace Trae.

I had the great pleasure of becoming friends with Trae after meeting him up in Blacksburg back in 1990ish. He was a lovely guy, always full of mischief and fun, but also caring and generous. Trae was a wonderful neighbor and will be missed by all. He and Clay and Zeus and Bud had many friends at our neighborhood dog park, it won't be the same without him. Rest in peace, my friend.

An unbelievable shock. A great guy who I met over a dozen years ago in my restaurant, The Pancake House & Grill. He would tell me he's having breakfast and then going for a ride or to a race. He was a very kind hearted man who you could see adored his son. He brought Clay in when he was just a baby and we had the pleasure of watching him grow and saw the great interaction between he and Trae. We will truly miss seeing him.

I'm so sad to hear of Trae's passing. I met Trae back in middle school and have many fond memories of him. Trae always went out of his way to be very kind to me, and I'll forever remember him as a very gentle, caring soul. My heart goes out to your family at this very difficult time, sending you much love and prayers...RIP Trae....today and everyday.
