Joseph was born on June 29, 1931 and passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.

Joseph was a resident of Newport News, Virginia at the time of passing.

A Newport News native and 1949 graduate of Newport News High School, he remained a lifelong Peninsula resident.

He served in the US Air Force from 1949-1952 as a trombonist in the Tactical Air Command Band at Langley Air Force Base.
