Rose was born on April 10, 1952 and passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Rose was a resident of Chesapeake, Virginia at the time of passing.

Rose was a graduate of Christopher Dock Mennonite High School.

This was a school in Puerto Rico, where the Bergey family participated in a service project, which was recently destroyed by Hurricane Maria.

Along with her family, Rose made many significant contributions at Bergey's Breadbasket.
